Clackamas County is closing the east end of SE Lawnfield Road from 97th Avenue to 98th Court, 24 hours a day from May 30 – Dec. 23. The closure is needed for the safe and efficient completion of the Lawnfield Phase 3 Construction Project.
The project includes roadway reconstruction and widening, bike lanes, sidewalks, storm water drainage and detention pond, street lighting and signalization of the Lawnfield Road / 97th Avenue intersection.
Clackamas County is coordinating work on this project with construction on the Sunrise JTA project by the Oregon Department of Transportation to ensure adequate access to and from the area for the duration of both projects. The Lawnfield Road / 97th Avenue and Lawnfield Road / 98th Court intersections will remain open throughout construction. Detour signs will be posted. The work zone will be only open to emergency vehicles with access only from 97th Avenue.
