Policy team helps create a strong local economy & represents business issues to elected officials

One of the most active volunteer teams of the North Clackamas County Chamber is Public Policy. This group of engaged members deals with discussions on all levels of public interest affecting the economic strength and liveability of the area.

At the monthly meetings there might be a speaker on a legislative item, or county transportation, water rights and costs, or any other issue that needs to be brought to businesses’ attention. This team reviews policy direction and votes on positions to recommend to the Board of Directors.

All members are encouraged to attend at anytime for topics that are of interest. This is one of two teams where voting members are appointed by the Board of Directors.
